Teens and Kids ages 8-18 - Join us for a summer camp designed to teach you how to safely complete the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Additionally, your kids will learn: Strength Training Basics Learn Proper Technique Weight Room Etiquette Spotting Safely Strength and resistance training is an awesome way to develop your children's bodies and increase bone density. When children feel confident moving their bodies, they feel confident in other areas of their lives. Confident kids = happy kids. For teens, these basic movements make up the backbone of almost all strength training programs they will encounter in high school, college, and professional sport. Our camp helps them become more confident using a weight room and exercising safely. Strength and resistance training is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics as long as it is done safely and tailored to each child's developmental level. Our summer camp provides three days a week of instruction from three of the most experienced and certified strength coaches in Charlotte County. Please see our website and view our certifications. Training begins July 18 and will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until July 29. Kids aged 8-13 will train from 5-6pm and Teens aged 14-18 will train from 6-7pm.
